The Philippines currently ranked number 76 tied with Cape Verde at The Henley and Partners Visa Restrictions Index 2016 with Germany topping the list. The Visa Restrictions Index is a ranking of countries based on the travel freedom its citizens enjoy. How convenient it would be to travel to whichever country you desire without the hassle of getting visa and worrying about getting approved? Currently, the Philippines can enter to 61 countries and territories without a visa or visa on arrival, that’s 61 out of 218 countries and territories, quite not there yet.
Filipinos are still not able to see the Grand Canyon, Statue of Liberty, the Eiffel Tower, the Sydney Opera, the Louvre, or may not be able to experience the Cherry Blossom in Japan or witness the Northern Lights without having a visa, but, there are still some magnificent places to see.
Twin Towers in Malaysia, the Jeju Island, the amazing Maldives, Angkor Wat in Siem Reap, floating market in Thailand, the Christ the Redeemer statue in Brazil are just some of the most beautiful tourist attractions that Filipinos can readily visit without visa.
