50 Movie Tag Questions

When boredom strikes, answer random questions found on the internet.  But, this isn’t some random, non-sense questions, but rather, some interesting questions about one of my favorite hobbies.  Watching movie.  Being a self-confessed movie buff – bringing one character to life, knowing stories you wouldn’t might have known, empathize with the protagonist and despise the antagonist – watching a movie is ‘life’.Answering these questions not only reveal my favorite movies and my movie viewing habit, but also, I feel like opening myself a little through the movies I like.  Without much further ado, I give to you these 50 Movie Tag questions.  I hope you all join the fun!

  1. How often do you watch a movie?  I hope I could watch one movie a day, but, the schedule doesn’t permit me to.  I watch as much as I can.
  2. What movie genre are you particularly fond of?  War movies, comedy, classic, fantasy, and mafia movies.  Actually, all genre, except maybe horror.  Not really a fan of horror movies, find it ridiculous.
  3. What was the last movie that you’ve watched and liked?  Really really liked (loved), Star Wars:  The Force Awakens
  4. What was the last movie that you’ve watched and hated?  Trainwreck? I don’t know what’s funny with that film.  Sorry.
  5. What is your most favorite movie of all time?  Too many to mention.  Almost Famous, Star Wars, Shawshank Redemption, Inception, and many many more.
  6. Your most favorite guilty pleasure movie?  Armageddon and Anaconda.  Couldn’t resist watching when on tv.Armageddon
  7. What movie/movies you have watched a million times already?  50 First Dates, The Replacements, and Almost Famous.
  8. Are you the type who watch movie on its first day of showing?  Not really, except for some comic book movie.  But it is depending on my schedule.  Atleast I watch it on its first week so not to be spoiled.
  9. Do you use fandango or do you pre-booked movie tickets?  Nope, never tried.
  10. Movie house, blu-ray, or download?  It is still different watching it on a big screen, but watching it on blu-ray gives a comforting and satisfying feeling.
  11. How often do you go to a movie house to watch a movie?  Not as often as I used to.  It’s damn expensive!
  12. What are the movies that made you cry?  Pursuit of Happyness, The Green Mile, Toy Story 3, Armageddon, I am Sam, and many more.  I am such a cry baby! haha.The Green Mile
  13. Do you watch foreign films?  I am a Filipino, so yes, hollywood films.  But other than that, not really.
  14. What’s your favorite foreign films?  Life is beautiful.  That was heartbreaking.
  15. Who are favorite directors?  Nolan, Scorsese, Crowe, and Spielberg
  16. Are you particular with movie scores, soundtracks, and musics?  Yes, they make movies much more intense and life.
  17. What movie soundtrack can be found in your ipod?  Garden State, Almost Famous, Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack vol. 1, and Begin Again.
  18. Have you ever watch a movie alone on a movie house?  Back in college, now, no.
  19. What is the best chick-flick for you?  While You Were Sleeping and A Walk to Remember
  20. Is there any movie that has changed your perspective in life?  To Kill A Mockingbird and Almost Famous.  Made me a little less judgemental of people and to be more positive.
  21. Your favorite comic book movie?  Dark Knight
  22. DC or Marvel movies?  I am a DC fan, but I do watch Marvel movies too.
  23. What are the movies in the top 10 in IMDB that you have watched?  I have watched all except number 9, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, which I intend to watch in the next few days.
  24. Do you read movie critic reviews before watching a film?  No, even non-spoiler.
  25. What is the best movie adapted from a book?  To Kill a Mockingbird.  Most recent, The Martian.
  26. Watch the movie before reading the book or vice versa?  Read the books, always.
  27. What is your most favorite comedy movie?  Old movies of Adam Sandler.  Big Daddy, Waterboy, etc.
  28. Drama movie?  Pursuit of Happyness, Forrest Gump, and Shawshank Redemption.
  29. Western movie?  True Grit, the remake.
  30. Romantic comedy film?  While You Were Sleeping and Sleepless in Seattle.  Classics!Classic Rom-Com
  31. Horror film?  The Ring from Japan.
  32. Sports movies?  The Replacements and Rudy
  33. Sci-fi?  Star Wars.
  34. Action movies?  The Rock, Face-off, and Con-Air.  Nicholas Cage, FTW.
  35. War movies?  Saving Private Ryan and Schindler’s List.
  36. Who is your most favorite movie couple?  Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, forever.
  37. Any movie character you can relate to?  None that I can think of.
  38. If you are to only watch five movies for the rest of your life, what would the movies be?  Whoa, this hard.  Prolly, Almost Famous, it makes me feel good after watching it.  Saving Private Ryan.  50 First Dates,wouldn’t get tired of watching this.  Inception, it made me think.  And probably, Star Wars.
  39. Your least favorite movie all time?  Movie parody movies.
  40. Have you ever watched a movie based on the lead actor/actress only?  Anything with Tom Hanks or Tom Cruise with it, I’ll definitely watch.
  41. What movie you expected and wanted to be good but failed you?  Batman v Superman:  Dawn of Justice.  Still can’t believe it!
  42. Favorite movie character of all time?  Atticus Finch of To Kill a Mockingbird and Forrest Gump.
  43. Favorite movie villain?  Darth Vader.
  44. Any movie sequel you are still waiting.  Can’t think of any.
  45. Ever made a movie review?  Not yet.
  46. Star Wars or Star Trek?  No contest, Star Wars.star wars
  47. Right now, think of any movie, what comes first?  Suicide Squad, because, I am watching it next.
  48. Favorite movie lines?  Life is like a box of chocolate, you’ll never know what are you gonna get.
  49. TV series, books, computer games, or movies in order of interest?  Books, movies, tv series, computer games.
  50. Lastly, if your life story is to be made into a movie, who would you like to portray you? Who should be directing it and what would be the title?  I do not want to watch my life on the big screen, it’s uninteresting.  That could be another After Earth.  Yes, that bad.
