2015 is almost over, and in a few days we will be welcoming a brand new year, and that only means one thing, (i guess a lot of things) planning your next travel destination!  If the Philippines is not on your list of your next travel destination, you might wanna reconsider that list, because the Philippines will definitely exceed your expectation.  A lot of the Philippines tourist destinations are listed on UNESCO world heritage list and some, are even included, for a time in the 7 wonders of the world list.

The Philippines boasts of its natural wonders, its authentic Filipino dishes and most importantly its people, known to be one of the most hospitable people in the world.  Be enchanted with the paradise-like land of the Pearl of the Orient Seas, the Philippines.


1.  El Nido, Palawan

Top Attractions:  Nacpan beach, Cadlao Island, Matinloc Island, El Nido Resorts, Ille Cave


Getting Here:  Direct flight from Manila to El Nido at Lio Airport (1hr).  Then tricycle ride to El Nido town (20 mins).


2.  Manila City


Top Attractions:  Intramuros, Rizal Park, Manila Ocean Park, Baywalk Roxas Boulevard, SM Mall of Asia, National Museum


Getting Here:  Direct flight from all major cities around the world.  Once in Manila, you can roam around the city by taking jeepney, buses, pedicabs, tricycle, taxi, even kalesa or fx taxi depending on where you are going.

Getting Here:  Fly from either Manila or Cebu to Coron.  You can hire a private boat for your island hopping tour.

Getting Here:  Direct bus from Manila.  You can hire a van to explore Baguio City better and to not waste time commuting.


6.  Puerto Prinsesa, Palawan


Top Attractions:  Subterranean River National Park or Underground River, Honda Bay, Palawan Wildlife and Rescue Conservation Center, Pandan Island, Luli Island


Getting Here:  Direct flight from Manila, Iloilo, Cebu or El Nido, Palawan to Puerto Prinsesa.  The city is 1 1/2 kms. away  from Puerto Prinsesa International Airport. 


7.  Boracay




Top Attractions:  White Beach, Puka Beach, Bat Cave


Getting Here:  Fly from Manila to Caticlan and take ferry from Caticlan Jetty Port to Boracay. 


8.  Vigan, Ilocos Sur

10.  Batanes
